Woke up to the childhood sounds of Kermit the Frog reporting for Sesame Street News. Was I back in time? No, Alex had turned on his Samsung Tablet and started a Youtube playlist going through a collection.of old Television children’s shows.
After a morning formula feed and dose of medicine we were off to Chia’s office. She had forgotten her cell phone. No phone, no contact. And for a new mother (1.5 years is still relatively new I think) contact with her young child and family is a priority.
Alex and I were back home for lunch. He had his bottle. I had scrambled eggs on toast with a sprinkle of black pepper and a dash of ketchup. Followed by some fresh hot milk tea. Alex played with his new toy excavator that his mother had bought him the last day during his Hospital stay. It makes all kinds of amazing noises. That will keep me — oops — hahaha — him entertained for ages. Although he loves to play with smartphones and tablets (which do have their educational value) I do however limit his access to those things. Old fashioned toys and Imagination is the best enjoyment for a young child I think.
Talking about imagination I had an unusual dream last night. I was in Vatican City. And I was with the Pope. It was Pope Francis, who was elected on the 13th of March, 2013. He succeeded Pope Benedict XVI. He is the bishop of Rome and leader of the Catholic church. (I had to look that up by the way).
Anyhow we were sitting in a large auditorium together with many statues around us. And we were discussing his personal security. I seemed to be very concerned about someone trying to assassinate him. He seemed like a very genuine human being in my dream. It was very strange. I had felt like I had really met him after I woke up.
I’m not a religious person. So why did this guy pop into my head? And more bizarre pope Francis was elected on the same date as Alexander’s birthday. The 13th of March. What a curious coincidence.
