October 2nd, 2016 | On this day …

The toy box that became a toy.

Kaohsiung. Taiwan.

Clear. Sunny. 32°c.

Oh, what a lazy day today. Feel very tired today. So not much happened at all. Perhaps it was the warm weather. I feel like a rechargeable battery that has run down. I never used to be like that until about 5 years ago. Before that the ‘light was always on’. Now it’s flickering. Ha.

330 p.m. did some more laundry. Although today I only washed it. I didn’t dry it. I decided to dry it at home on the back veranda clothesline.

4:00 p.m. Bought a toybox for Alexander at Carrefour. Bright coloured hard plastic with wheels. When I took it home and filled it with his toys and odds and ends he decided to empty it all out onto the floor and get into it and drive it like a car. The toy box has become a toy.

6:00 p.m. Chia went to get a haircut. So I stayed home and watched Alexander.

7:00 p.m. Yes, a very quiet day. Not much happened. But I can tell you what did happen on this day in history …
