Sunday. Morning showers. 24°.
6:35a.m. Alexander is very active and chatty this morning. Although it’s still ‘baby chatter’ so I have no idea what he’s really saying. So I read his body language, tone of voice and facial expressions and get a sense of what he’s going on about. Overall its positive and happy and that’s what counts.
8:13 a.m. The sky is looking promising this morning. Not like yesterday. It’s blue again with those very high scattered and stretched whisps of clouds called Cirrus. Nice.
Mom and dad would have arrived in Auckland New Zealand this morning. I hope they have a great day there. It must be quite exciting to arrive in the land where they made movies like The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit and many others.
10 a.m. ~ 12:00 p.m. Today we decided to take Alexander to the zoo. The weather has cleared up quite well so should be alright.
It was probably the wrong time to go. It was quite a warm day today and I think going around lunchtime would mean most of the large animals are having a midday sleep. So we didn’t see much apart from Taiwanese monkeys that were everywhere. Alexander did see his first giant iguana, an elephant and enjoyed running around the pathways to different areas. As long as he had fun that’s all that matters. And he did.
He feel straight to sleep when we arrived home. So did we. Ha!
