November 8th, 2016 | A Tainan adventure with dad

Dad’s area. So i can watch the U.S. presidental election results.

6:30 a.m. Alexander is going to spend the entire day with his father today. He won’t be going to daycare today for various reasons. So 1st thing is bottle feed and then play time!

9 a.m. Alex wanted to watch TV this morning. It was the Teletubbies of course. While doing this he drank a bottle of water, ate a banana, had a few crackers and then comsumed some scrambled eggs on toast with me.

10 a.m. Back to the play room where he can sit down and play and I can continue working on my manual for my electronics kit. It’s quite a lot of work to do but it will be worth it in the end. It should create a very nice presentable manual and various other things for packaging. I think the secret to selling is presentation.

10:30 a.m. Oh my God. What’s that stench? I see, it’s diaper change time.

11 a.m. Thinking about my mum and dad this morning on her ocean cruise. I am guessing they should be heading back to Australia today after spending a week in New Zealand. Mum said her scheduled arrival back was Wednesday the 9th of November at 9 a.m. in Brisbane. I’m sure they’ve got lots of stories to tell when they return. I’ll speak to Mum again this coming Sunday I think at 12 noon. We shall see.

3:00 p.m. A surprise turn of events. Chia has decided to take two days off work and book us an over night stay in Tainan. So after work I will goto a hotel Chia has booked in Tainan. A children’s hotel designed for kids to stay at. Sounds like fun. So now Alex and I are off for an adventure.

4:00 pm Took a taxi from Tainan station to the children’s hotel. I’m surprised such things exist. But I guess where there’s money to be made some one will have a service. It was not cheap though. One night 3600NT. Ouch.

430 pm Another taxi to work with Alexander.

5:00 p.m.Young learners class. All the children were very surprised to see Alexander. They couldn’t believe their teacher also was a dad. Alexander had a lot of fun in the class. He’s never been with older children before. So it was a new experience.

7:00 p.m. Time to goto the children’s hotel. The first thing Alexander did was play in the ball pit, then the sand pit and then after washing off his feet and hands it was on the slide. What a busy little man.

9:00 p.m. Chia arrived and took a shower then played with Alex while I had mine.

10:30 p.m. Time to put Alexander to bed. Although that was easier said than done. However eventually all the playtime caught up with him and he was knocked out.
