January 15th, 2017 | A Mother’s Day

Alexander feeds himself as we have lunch to remember mom’s birthday.

Me and my father in law. We are his only family now. So we’re quite close.

Sunday. Overcast. 18°.

9:00 a.m. We took Alexander out to the big park that we went to last weekend for a picnic and had our breakfast there. Today would have been my mother-in-laws 53rd birthday, had she not passed away last August from leukemia. So today is a bit of a remembrance day for her. She would have loved to gone to the park with Alexander today. So that’s what we did.

12:00 p.m. We took Dad out for lunch at a nice resturant called Ten Ren. Ten Ren is a famous tea company in Taiwan and export their products worldwide. They own a chain of quality restaurants where they cook alot of their meals in tea, believe it or not. And it tastes quite good, as well as being loaded with the benefits of antioxidants.

130 p.m. Got back home. While Alexander played in his room we had to.do some cleaning for Chinese New Year. It us a custom to clean your house and throw out all old useless things, furtinure, clutter etc so your house is fresh and ready for the coming new year. There was a considerable amount of stuff to toss out, some of it sitting there for years. So it took up a good portion of the afternoon to deal with.

7:00 p.m. Weekly laundry duty.

9:00 p.m. Movie time. Actually it’s TV series time. Going to watch the latest episode of Sherlock Holmes, played by the actor Benedict Cumberbach. It is a very fascinating character and intriguing stories.

11:30 p.m. Was going to stay up late and do some more circuit design. But too tired. Bed time.
