Last day of the month. 2017 is moving on, full steam ahead.
6:00 a.m. Alexander was up early as expected. Though he has a bit of a head cold, nothing too serious, just constant blocked nose.
8:30 a.m. Took Alexander to the pediatrician to get this head cold checked out. Gave him some cough mixture and baby panadol. (I could have done that). But the doctors word is more official I guess.
You know they aren’t really doctors. The people we dish money out to whom most turn a corner on every word they say and being fooled. Doctors are nothing more than human medical books. People who have memorized medical texts and dish out prescriptions and diagnosis on what YOU tell them. A real doctor, if they even do exist would be someone who you could sit down with a simply say “I feel sick, what’s wrong with me?” And not say anything else. Let them diagnose you on pure medical examination. Without words. Even better still, the perfect doctor would be an individual you could brush past in a crowd, they would stop, the electro chemistry between their body and your body would interact and a diagnostic session would detect electrical abnormalites (just like modern medical equipment does) and they would then look at you and say “Hmm your body is not functioning properly today. Best you go lay down and take some of this and that.” That kind of doctor would probably be later reverred to as some kind of messiah after doing numerous housecalls. Ring any bells? Food for thought. Let’s take an even greater leap. Let’s say in 100 years time, Time-travel becomes a reality. What would happen if you sent a simple GP back a couple of thousand years to the middle east and performed what they do now, back then. What would people say? Call them witches or demons perhaps and probably stone them or burn them alive. Or let’s send an astronaut back. They’d be called an Extra Terrestrial. Yes, very interesting. My point is everything we accept may not be true reality, but only a perception of reality that we accept at this very moment in time. Hmmmmm.
5:30 p.m. At the laundromat. A pile of clothes from new years festivities and Alexander’s bedding.
7:00 p.m. I have created an instructable at the Instructables website. I hope that my free DIY lesson will send some electronic buyers into my direction. The Instructable at this moment in time is hosted here:
9:00 p.m. Alexander is fast asleep and now its time to watch a movie.
