8:00 a.m. Spent the morning playing with Alexander, helping him create some various towers with his play blocks. He has really taken a good interest in toy building blocks. And that’s great. Not only does it stimulate his thinking and coordination, it also gets him away from his tablet.
11:30 a.m. Left for work. It seems like an average summer day today. Feeling more positive for work. I say this because yesterday I was informed that the 5 hour extra teaching gig at a local elementary school next week was cancelled. Bugger. One of those 2 good 2 be true moments. Anyhow, last night I spoke with Anli’s mother and we have locked in 2 classes per week for Anli during the two month summer break. Every Monday and Wednesday. So that’s great.
2:00 p.m. Elementary Grade 3. Spoke with Peggy, Anli’s classmate about home tuition in the future. Not sure if she totally understood what I was explaining. Wrote down my contact number for her to give to her mother anyhow.
3:30 p.m. Samuel. 1 on 1 class.
4:30 p.m. Anli. 1 on 1 class.
6:00 p.m. Murphy. 1 on 1 class. I also spoke to Murphy about the school closing and if he wants to continue English lessons at home or some place. Hopefully I will get some feedback about it relatively soon. I will also talk to Ariel about it tomorrow as well.
7:00 p.m. Home time.
