Mum and Dad went to see Paul McCartney. McCartney’s One On One Tour dropped into Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on Saturday the 9th of December 2017 — his first solo date in the city — McCartney was in a chatty mood as he took 40,000 fans (and family members) on a journey through his career pre-Beatles to now and shared the stories behind so many of those indelible hits and the bandmates who’re no longer with us.

8:00 a.m. Slept well last night. Not that I don’t usually sleep well, just slept more contented. I spent yesterday printing and etching my 1st laser printed circuit boards. They turned out better than I expected being my 1st attempt. although it was drilling 0.8mm holes in the board to thread components that was the challenging part. I purchased a mini drill press the other day and it helped immensely.

Sales have dropped off now as Christmas approaches. People now have gifts to buy and other expenses due to the upcoming holidays. So I will use the down time to build up a stockpile of Bumble Bee units. Ready for the upcoming new year.

12:00 p.m. Spoke to Mum and Dad on Skype. They were excited by a once in a life time experience they had last night. Last night they went to see the famous singer Paul McCartney from ‘The Beetles’. He is about 70 something years old now but still full of energy and his songs still dazzle numerous generations including of course my parents. The concert went for 2 hours and apparently was pretty much a non-stop event. For breaks between songs Paul told stories about throughout his life and career. He said he never thought the Beetles would get past 3 or 4 years. Yet it has been over 50 years since the British group released their most popular album ‘Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band’ was released on  the 26th of May 1967. Amazing.
